Adyame Yordanos Wenkeshet Saint Gabriel Unity Monastery is located in Amhara Region, South Gondar Zone, Dera District, Wof Argif Tamre Kebele. When you want to come to the monastery from any part of the world, you are expected to reach the city of Bahir Dar first. After reaching Bahir Dar, it is a 30 km drive from Bahir Dar to Tis Abay and a 45 minute walk from Tis Abay to Wenkeshet Monastery. If you are not able to walk, after you reach Tis Abay, you can order a mule from the monastery as there is the monastery’s shop in Tis Abay.
